2. Purpose of the Platform

Dioptico is an educational web application providing a manual phoropter simulation, designed for learning visual examination techniques.

The platform notably offers:

• an interactive simulator of a manual phoropter and visual test projections;

• training materials in PDF format, printable and provided with answer keys;

• self-assessment use, without any official grading or certification.

Dioptico is exclusively educational.

It:

• has no clinical or medical purpose;

• cannot be used in a professional or clinical setting;

• does not replace a real eye examination or the intervention of a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Access to the Service

3.1 Account Creation

Access to the platform requires the creation of a user account via:

• an email address and password, or

• a Google login.

Users agree to provide accurate information and to keep their login credentials confidential.

3.2 Offers and Subscriptions

Dioptico offers:

• a 5-day free freemium access, without registering any payment method;

• a monthly subscription, non-refundable and cancellable at any time;

• an annual one-time payment, non-refundable and cancellable at any time.

Payments are secured and processed by the payment provider Stripe.

4. Cancellation and Account Deletion

Users may cancel their monthly or annual subscription at any time from their personal account area.

Users may also request the deletion of their account, which will result in the deletion of their personal data and the termination of access to the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All content available on Dioptico (including the simulator, interface, educational resources, answer keys, texts, and graphics) is protected by intellectual property laws.

Any copying, reproduction, distribution, sharing, or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization, is strictly prohibited.

6. Liability

Dioptico makes reasonable efforts to provide a functional and secure service but does not guarantee the absence of errors or interruptions.

The publisher shall not be held liable for:

• the interpretation or educational use made by the user;

• results obtained in official examinations;

• any use that does not comply with the educational purpose of the service.

8. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
